STALLHOLDERS

Saltwater River Wines

Our family run vineyard occupies a sun drenched western slope of our sheep farm at Saltwater River, producing Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Gamay wine grapes.  The red basalt soils of Saltwater River once grew vegetables, cereals, hops and livestock when the place was first settled as a convict probation station to feed nearby Port Arthur.  It now produces premium Tassie wines and grass fed lamb.

Devil’s in Stitches

Devil’s in Stitches - a group of local people who meet weekly for
coffee, chat, laughter, and oh yes…..crafting. Sharing of ideas and
knowledge, we are a respectful, inclusive group across all ages and
areas on the Tasman Peninsula. Everyone is welcome.

Southern Tasmanian Beekeepers Association

The Southern Tasmanian Beekeepers Association formed in 1958 as a membership based organisation.   We offer training and support to beekeepers at every stage of their beekeeping journey and we welcome members interested in exploring all forms of beekeeping.  We have a long history of bee custodianship and education including bee keeping courses, mentoring and Local Area Networks. We invite you to join us at one of our monthly meetings (non members welcome) and find out how we
can support you.

Squish Soaps

Coming from Austrian and Scottish heritage straight to Tasmania, our formulator and creator's designs draw inspiration from the varied climates she has lived in and the beautiful natural ingredient’s local to each part of the world that’s been passed through on the road.

Finding creativity by taking inspiration from traditional cold-processed soap recipes and giving them a bright, fun and squishy side with old-fashioned simple quality.

Lil Lizzies Kitchen was founded in 2009 as therapy for PTSD and bounced into a fulltime business.

Janine focuses on good old-fashioned flavour in her products reminding people of a visit to Granmas kitchen.

Janine has won over 40 awards for her cakes biscuits and preserves which shows the quality of the cook and all homemade from scratch. She has also won 3 runner up awards in the Glenorchy business sector.

You will find Jam, Chutney , relish, sauces, cakes, biscuits and slices. They all showcase the wonderful Tasmanian produce available in our great state.

As part of the Bee Festival Janine will be making cakes and biscuits using the wonderful Tasman Honey.
